Vacation

Awww...to have a vacation right about now would be wonderful. I would love some warmer weather and a place to relax with my family. I've been looking into the Karisma Hotels, located on the beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. It's supposed to be a great Honeymoon Getaway, but also a place for families as well. They have a terrific gourmet-inclusive concept, as well as excellent service and luxurious accommodations we all would appreciate. I'm not sure yet if a vacation like this will happen this year or not, but it's worth looking into at least. I'm hoping this summer we can make it a reality, but until then...just a dream.

Spring

I am really looking forward to Spring, and it's only January. Is that bad?! haha We've had SO much snow and so much bad weather over the past month that I'm already tired of winter. Snow is beautiful as it falls...but all the shoveling, drifting, icing and having to drive in it gets old. Oh, and did I say how cold it is...it's gotten down to -10 or more lately. That's just crazy...and without the windchill too. Not weather you want to be out in for very long, that's for sure. Spring is welcome to come anytime now.

Busy Season

Work is beginning to slow down a bit which is good since I've been gone for a couple weeks helping Jen with Kaden and Kaelyn. I am looking forward to some down time after such a crazy and long busy season. Hopefully this winter I can relax a little and spend more time with my wonderful family. I love my wife and kids so much...there's no where I'd rather be than with them. I want to spend as much time with them as possible before the Spring busy season gears up again.

Cmas Shopping

Have you ever checked out those one sale a day sites? THey usually offer something really great for really cheap. It's amazing. Today I almost got a set of stainless steel knives for my wife for cmas for 4.99!! Can you believe that? That's an amazing deal. My brother in law got a bluetooth for that same price. I don't know how they offer things so cheap, but it's wonderful. I'm going to start getting better about watching these types of sites, especially with cmas coming up!

Swagbucks

If you've never checked out Swagbucks...you really should! It's an amazing way to make money or get prizes just by searching online like you always do. My wife started doing it and she has already gotten lots of Amazon gift cards. We've used the cards to get bday presents and even start our cmas shopping. It's great! I love how she finds little ways to save us money. She's very good at it and it's such a blessing to our family.

Karisma Hotels

I recently found out that I won a trip with my job. Jen is invited as well. Although it is very exciting, I don't think we'll be able to go because of the new baby coming. We're a little bummed, but want to plan a vacation for next summer or fall to make up for it. Right now I'm looking into Karisma Hotels. Ever heard of them? They are a collection of properties on the beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. They offer amazing service, great accommodations and even a gourmet inclusive concept that anyone who loves food will appreciate. I am excited to learn more about it and wonder if this might be the place we decide to vacation this year. I sure hope so! I have a feeling that if we go during the summer months, there may be many on their family vacation since it's such a great place.
