Bring Favre to the Vikes!

Over the past couple of summer I could remember how sick I was of having to always hear about Brett Favre, and is going to retire or isn't he. But now that he is actually thinking about playing for my Minnesota Vikings, I can't wait to hear the next update on his current situation. There are many people who think that if the Vikings could land Brett Favre, they are an instant Super Bowl contender, and I like the sound of that!

Game 4

Tonight's game 4 is a very crucial game for the Orlando Magic. Down 2 games to 1 they really need to win tonight to even the series and gain some momentum into their final home game of the series on Sunday. I, for one, am sick of the Lakers just as I am with the New York Yankees. Orlando is a far better team and just isn't use to the pressures of playing in the NBA Finals like the Lakers. I am cheering all the way for Orlando.

More Training

I have been to more training in the last year, than I have been in my whole life. Tomorrow I go to a half day of training down at NIACC. This training is put on by one of the seed company's that we sell seed for. At this time of the year you can learn many things about a plant and it's growing stages. The more training the more knowledge I can pass on to my farmers.

My brother in law is graduating this weekend with his masters. He got his degree online through online college courses. That's a very popular thing to do these days. One school I hear about often is Capella University. What a big girl!

We were getting Kaelyn ready for church the other day and realized that she only has one or two pairs of shoes that still fit her. Sometimes I think her feat actually grow overnight. It's crazy how fast she's been growing. We're looking to buy her a good pair of walking shoes now that she's all over the place...however at the same time we don't really want to spend a lot because we know she'll grow out of them fairly quickly.

4 years!

Jen and I have our 4 year anniversary coming up next week. It doesn't seem like we've been married for that long already...I guess time flies when you're having fun though, right! I always like to find something special for Jen on our anniversary. This year we're in the middle of selling our house, so I need to find something nice, but affordable at the same time. If anyone has any great ideas I am more than open to suggestions!

Wishing for a Vacation

I have been at my new job for 10 months now and I only get 5 days of vacation and would like to build my vacation days up so that I can have a little freedom. My second year I receive 10 days of vacation which will free me up to feel like I can take some time off and may be get in a vacation. The next question is, where do we go?

Which club to buy

This Christmas I received a new set of Taylormade Golf Irons, so in order for my to get use out of them I need to purchase other clubs to complete my set. Recently I have be looking at a Driver, 3 wood, and 4 hybrid. These are probably the 3 clubs I use the most other than my putter. Now I just have to find the right club at the right price. Any suggestions?

Where did this week go?

I can't believe that tomorrow is already Thursday. It's funny everyday I go to work with nothing on my agenda, but by the time I get home I wonder where the day went. It's amazing that it doesn't matter whether or not I have anything scheduled I can always find something to keep me busy to pass the time. Let get this week over with!

Watching Zoe

This week Jenna and I were dog sitting her parent's dog, Zoe. Zoe is a Bichon Frise and such a good girl. She's so easy to dog sit because she's really pretty low maintenance. Now with the new house we just let her out on her chain when she has to go potty and she's so good to ask by ringing her bell on the door whenever she has to go. We really enjoy getting to watch her every once in a while...and miss her when she leaves. Maybe someday we'll get a Bichon of our own?? Either that or we'll continue to "borrow" Zoe.:)

Loving Playoff Basketball

It's funny, I hate watching the NBA during the regular season, but once the Playoffs roll around I can watch it every night for 3 months straight. I think that having the players know that they are playing to keep their hopes for a championship alive. Playing the best of seven series makes them play every game like it was their last. Let's go Orlando!

Working Hard

Although it is not the busy season, it seems that work has been pretty busy this week. Last night a I did not get home til' late, and this morning I had to work. We're spraying for weeds, so it is not something that will take weeks and weeks, but just something that needs to get done. I'm trying to get as much done as I can so that I can spend more time with my wife and daughter. :)

Mowing the Yard

I finally got our yard mowed again. It's been hard to get that done lately with all of the rain. Between the rain and work I find it difficult to get much done at all while it's still daylight and sunny outside. I'm glad it's done and I hopefully wont' have to think about it for another week at least.

I've only been paintballing a couple of times and it was a long time ago. I think it would be fun to try it again sometime....but I first need the supplies to do so. Tips from the Pros

I had the opportunity to attend a PGA golf tourney a couple weeks ago, and I'm glad I attended. It's surprising to see just how laid back the golfers are even though they are playing for such a large sum of money. They make every shot look so easy. I can honestly say that I learned some of the things I should do in my game to shoot a better score. I can't wait for the next opportunity I can get to go and watch again. What a great time!

Believe And You Will Be Rewarded

We have been going through some uncertain times over the pass couple of months. A few days before Easter we decided to put our house on the market, and in the first few weeks had 11 showings. Seeing the interest we were receiving we thought we should start looking for a new one. We found one that we really likely and put in a contingent offer which was accepted. So we had a house bought if ours would sell, then came the news that someone else put in a non-contingent offer which gave us 48 hours to pull our contingency or cancel our offer. Of course we had to cancel our offer, which really bummed me out. Here we are 2 months later still trying to sell our house and looking for a house we can be happy in. We know that if we continue to be faithful God will reward us, so that's what we're doing. Patience.
