Karisma Hotels

I recently found out that I won a trip with my job. Jen is invited as well. Although it is very exciting, I don't think we'll be able to go because of the new baby coming. We're a little bummed, but want to plan a vacation for next summer or fall to make up for it. Right now I'm looking into Karisma Hotels. Ever heard of them? They are a collection of properties on the beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. They offer amazing service, great accommodations and even a gourmet inclusive concept that anyone who loves food will appreciate. I am excited to learn more about it and wonder if this might be the place we decide to vacation this year. I sure hope so! I have a feeling that if we go during the summer months, there may be many on their family vacation since it's such a great place.

Friday!

I can't tell you how glad I am that it's Friday! Yesterday was my birthday and I had to work a very long day, so it just drug on forever! Hopefully today I will get home early and have more time with my wonderful family. I love my job, but family definitely comes first. I've been gone a lot lately with work and would like some time just to relax and spend with them. Who knows...maybe we could do something fun for my birthday tonight?! We'll have to see.

Sesame Street

What is it about Sesame Street that is so intriguing to little kids? I remember when I was young just loving it, and now I have a daughter who loves it just as much if not more! It's neat that they still run the show...as there are so many classics that they don't anymore. I think it's a mix between the characters and the music. What I love is how much learning goes on at the same time. She has started counting and saying her letters which is just great!
